I am terrible at getting together regularly with my friends. We all have such busy lives and different schedules and it makes it almost impossible to see each other on a regular basis. However, I am trying to get better at that - even if I do have to schedule dinners together a month out. But one thing we can agree on is that when we get together, we have to try something new. It could be a new restaurant, new activity, or a new craft project, but we always try to keep it fresh and interesting.

I'm a sucker for a pretty drink. I can't help it really, but I think most women are. The interesting garnishes, pretty colors, and unique flavor combinations keep us coming back for more. Rosé is one of those beverages for me. After all, wine is delicious, but pink wine? Yes please! That's why it's always a fun drink to have on hand when my girlfriends and I get together. While sipping some tasty cocktails, we can catch up, laugh, and enjoy spending some much-needed time together.

Because we always need a reason to get together, what better day to celebrate than June 9th - National Rosé Day?

Day Owl Rosé asked me to create some cocktails for them using their Rosé, so of course I said "yes way!" This crisp, fruit-forward California Rosé has citrus notes to it, so I've created 4 cocktails here for you that will go great with it. It's cool, refreshing, and pairs really well with all of the different flavors I've combined with these four drinks. Its chief varietal is Barbera, an Italian grape that’s perfect for enjoying right now.

Need some Day Owl Rosé cocktail ideas? I've got 4 refreshing cocktails here for you that have easy to find ingredients in them and can even be set up like a Day Owl Rosé cocktail bar for an interactive get together with your gal pals! Let's get shakin' and stirrin'!
