The Best Dark Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies
When I was growing up, every once ina while my dad would make "Grandmother Ellen's Oatmeal Raisin Cookies". It was a nice thought, but no one would ever eat them besides him because of the raisins! Sorry, Dad-o! So instead of writing off the whole idea of the oatmeal cookie, I kicked those yucky raisins to the curb and put something I can't get enough of in them instead - chocolate. Now you could use any kind of chocolate really, by my fave is dark chocolate, so that's what you're getting from me today.
Here's the recipe for these yummy dark chocolate oatmeal cookies that you're sure to love!
- 14 tablespoons butter (1 & 3/4 sticks), softened

- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 & 1/2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 3 cups Quaker Oats (quick or old fashioned)
